Our goals
The 2024 AscendRural Summit, presented by AscendRural, marks the initial phase of a longer-term program aimed at piloting health and well-being innovations in rural communities, starting with central Minnesota. Looking ahead, AscendRural seeks to position this region as a leader in rural innovation, deploying scalable solutions for other communities nationwide.
Scheduled for September 23-24, 2024, this year’s Summit seeks to lay the groundwork to achieve that vision by:
Defining the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of mental health and innovation in rural communities;
Identifying promising, scalable technologies to deliver tangible, sustained, and positive impact;
Convening a community of innovators and rural health leaders who are taking an active role in changing the trajectory of rural mental health and well-being.
